‘Sense and Sensibility’ Stage Tour March 25

SENSEBased on Jane Austen’s novel, the Gainesville Theatre Alliance’s production of Sense and Sensibility runs April 8-19, but a free backstage tour is Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. in UNG-Gainesville’s Ed Cabell Theatre, 3820 Mundy Mill Rd, Oakwood. Patrons will hear from Director and Playwright Gay H. Hammond, Scenic Designer Larry Cook, and Costume Designer Lizzy Trawick before being treated to a scene from the play.

In a grand fashion that has kept readers swiftly turning pages, Austen’s novels depict a time of measured affections and matrimonial minuets, when one’s wildly beating heart could cause a hot blush despite efforts to keep cool. For more information visit http://gainesvilletheatrealliance.org/Pages/Sense%20and%20Sensibility.aspx.
