Condolences to External Relations Administrative Assistant Salli Hutton and family on the death of her mother, Dorothy McMillan, 84, of South Bend, Ind. McMillan died on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Signature Health Care in South Bend.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by two granddaughters, seven great grandchildren and her loving companion Sully Springer. She was an active member of Stull United Methodist Church, and later at Faith United Methodist Church. Her friends were many and she had a great love of music, jazz, in particular, traveling to Chicago and the surrounding area in her younger days to hear Dinah Washington, Charlie Parker, Bud Powell and other great musicians of the day.
