Come see 35 notable selections of the works of Emma Fordyce McRae, Gustave Weigand, Jane Peterson and other artists from the first half of the 20th century – all part of Masterworks on the Move, a traveling exhibition of works from the Helena Eastman Ogden Campbell Collection at Wesleyan College.
At the opening reception Thursday, Jan. 16, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., soprano Barbara Steinhaus, Brenau University music professor, sets the stage by performing selections from notable American composers such as Charles Ives, Amy Marcy Cheney Beach and Irving Berlin. Tours and special performances will be offered to groups of 10 or more on Mondays and Wednesdays 10 – 11:30 a.m. for the length of the exhibition. Tours must be reserved at least a week in advance.
