Artists often see something disturbing, something beautiful, or even something ordinary that in their mind’s eye becomes compelling, richer, or “more” than it is for others. The juried exhibition More, works by members of the Women’s Caucus for Art of Georgia, will explore this theme of as it relates to how artists see the world through two- and three-dimensional works.
During the More opening reception and talk, the contributing artists will discuss their work and answer questions about their processes. The reception is Thursday, Sept. 19 from 5:30-7 p.m. in Simmons Visual Arts Center, Sellars Gallery, and the exhibition runs through Sunday, Dec. 15.
