Brenau University takes life safety seriously. Every fire alarm on campus is inspected and tested each year by a National Fire Protection Association certified inspector. These test help ensure that the alarms function as designed and serve as a major component in the life safety of our students, employees and guests. In order to confirm the systems work properly, Brenau requires the inspector to sound the alarms.
On Friday, Sept. 13, these inspections will be performed at the Tea Room, Jacobs Building, Owens Student Center and the Fitness Center. Do not evacuate.
Please be aware that some classes may be disrupted. Building occupants are not required to evacuate during these inspections.
