Brenau Window Magazine has won a national Award of Excellence from the College & University Designers Association for the online version of the publication that you can see at http://window.brenau.edu – one of 25 such awards in the digital media category of the annual competition. The award will be presented at the UCDA conference this October in Louisville, Ky., where the Brenau entry will be part of the exhibition.
UCDA, founded in 1970, comprises more than 1,000 members in the United States and Canada and is the first and only professional association for those involved in the creation of visual communications for educational institutions. Judges picked the Brenau entry from 114 contestants.
The award marks the 4th win in UCDA competition for Design Director Christie Gregory since she came to work at Brenau in 2007. In fact, she won her first award that year for a layout she developed for her first Brenau Window magazine. Gregory also has won several awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
Others listed on the citation for the online Brenau Window include photographer Nick Dentamaro, web director/developer Michael McPeek and editor/writer David Morrison.
