Fire Alarm Testing on Gainesville Campus

Art for Fire Alarm TestsThe fire alarms on the Brenau University Gainesville campus are reguraly inspected and tested to maintain the safest environment possible for our students, faculty, staff, and guests. During these tests, the fire alarms are activated, meaning the strobe lights flash and audible alarms sound.

Testing and inspections will begin on Tuesday, May 14 and continue through Tuesday, May 21. Because of the number of alarms, pin-pointing a schedule is difficult. We will attempt to notify everyone within a particular building that the test is about to begin. However, we will likely miss someone, so we ask for your understanding.

Due to the operation of the Child Development Center, the building’s inspection will be performed after hours. Due to the size of the building, the Main Complex inspection will be performed on Friday afternoon.
