Brenau's Gabby Harvey earns honorable mention as NAIA Division I Women's Basketball All-American

Gabby Harvey recieved an honorable mention as a 2012-13 NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball All-American.
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2013 Division I Women’s Basketball All-America Teams on Wednesday. Players were selected by the NAIA-Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association All-America Committee and Brenau senior forward Gabby Harvey recieved an honorable mention.

The Brenau Golden Tiger Basketball team finished with 15-15 record, with 10 of those losses decided by single digits. Harvey averaged 13.9 points and 12.2 rebounds this season.  She finished ranked No.2 nationally in defensive rebounds per game (8.7), No.4 in total rebounds per game (12.2), No.6 in total  rebounds (367) and No.9 in field goal percentage (.549). Harvey’s season highs were 25 points against Brewton-Parker College and 21 rebounds versus Truett-McConnell College. A three-year starter for Brenau, she averaged 10.4 points and 10.4 rebounds for her career.
