Please excuse the banging and clanking as we continue to develop our new Brenau Update site! Many astute readers will likely have noticed the new format for the Update email newsletter. This is only some of the progress we’re making. Update‘s appearance and function will continue to change and evolve as we create new features and get your feedback.
Since Update is the official organ of communication for Brenau University faculty and staff, employees are automatically enrolled as subscribers with their Brenau e-mail addresses. So, we need to keep you in the know about changes to Update. And this newest change comes with great benefits.
All faculty and staff with their automatic subscriptions through their brenau.edu e-mail addresses can now log in to the site, comment on articles, forward them to friends and acquaintances, post them to social media like individual Facebook pages, or submit their own items for Update. We still have more features planned, so watch this space!
Meanwhile, you can log in by following the instructions on the right side of the page. Your username is the first part of your e-mail address (everything before @brenau.edu) and your password is your default IT password (the first initial of your first name, the four-digit month and day of your birthday, the first initial of your last name, the number one and an exclamation mark (1!). For example, beloved president William Howard Taft, who was born on March 4, 1909, would enter W0304T1! in the password field.
