College of Education Passes Teacher Accreditation Test

The Unit Accreditation Board of the National Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) has informed Brenau that its board voted to “continue the accreditation of the College of Education at both the initial and advanced program levels. This accreditation decision indicates that the unit and its programs meet the rigorous standards set forth by the professional education community.” The report indicates that all six standards set by NCATE are recorded as being “met” for both Initial Teacher Preparation and Advanced Preparation programs. Congratulations to you all for your hard work over the past year to ensure that this accreditation was achieved.
