It is one of those anniversaries Brenau School of Nursing junior Bianca Vera would just as soon forget. But Feb. 10 marks exactly a year since Vera jumped 40 feet off a highway bridge into frigid waters of Lake Lanier to avoid being struck by a tractor-trailer rig sliding toward her on the icy road surface in what would become a 10-vehicle pile-up.
