Brenau university business adjunct instructor Glenn Hansen, a former senior vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, has been appointed budget officer for the city of Jacksonville, Fla. Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown said he picked Hansen for the important post because of his record for innovation and discipline in business practices. Brown knew Hansen through their joint work with Jacksonville University´s Davis Leadership Center where Hansen is executive-in-residence. Hansen has more than four decades of financial experience. While with the Fed he was responsible for the Detroit branch of the bank, and served on the bank´s management committee as well as Federal Reserve System committee.
