The Brenau University Department of Mathematics and Science is presenting the Fall 2011 Undergraduate Research Showcase on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Room 21 of the Science Building from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. The event features 10-15 minute presentations by undergraduate students who are currently conducting research in a scientific field. Presentations cover the following topics:

Case Report Sarah Ward – “Parelaphalostrongylus tenius (meningeal worm) Infection in a Domestic Llama”

Partnership with Georgia Poultry Laboratory Kiera Brown and Sarah Cooper – “C.S.I Oakwood (For Chickens!)”

Partnership with Zoo Atlanta Emily Gedney/Dr. Louise Bauck – “Increasing Visitor-Based Foraging in a Group of Captive Parakeets (Melopsittacus undulates)”
