Judy says per her husband´s wishes, the service will be followed by a party “with a catered menu of chili dogs and onion rings with a live band held across from the church at approximately 12 p.m. A notice will appear in the Gainesville paper this week, but I wanted my friends at Brenau to know that they are invited to both — and to take TUMS before coming. Dress casual and be ready to sing, dance and eat.”

Bishops George Wangemann and Michael Riemann will officiate at the service. Immediately following the service, the family invites friends to join them at Riverside Park, Riverside Drive. Also, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that any love offerings be given to Friendship Nursing Home Activities Program: 161 Friendship Road, Cleveland, GA 30528. The family wishes to express their deepest respect and appreciation to United Hospice of Northeast Georgia, Mason Transplant Clinic of Piedmont Hospital, and Community Hospice of Baldwin County, Ala.
