Lightfoot-Erickson paper wins regional competition and heads for nationals next year

The Southeastern Council of Business Schools and Programs, meeting last week in Chattanooga, Tenn., picked a paper by Brenau Dean of Business & Mass Communications Bill Lightfoot and Associate Dean Suzanne Erickson as the best in Region Three. That won them the right to present the same paper next June in Baltimore at the national meeting of the international business school accreditation organization. The Lightfoot-Erickson paper, “Increasing Rigor in Support of Sustainable Growth in an M.B.A. Program,” describes how Brenau increased M.B.A. enrollments by more than 200 percent in the past four years while also increasing efforts focused on raising quality.
